I Want to Know God – Part Two

Although you and others may consider you to be a good person and you may very well be a wonderful person by the standards of man. However, everyone born into this world is a sinner in the eyes of God. – (Ecclesiastes 7:20; Romans 3:10)

God will need you to accept and admit you are a sinner. – (Romans 3:23)

Only the grace of God through Jesus Christ can redeem you from your sinful state – (Ephesians 2:8-9)

God will need you to admit that you cannot fix your own sinful situation – (Romans 6:23b)

In the judicial system of God we have all earned death as the penalty of sin against him – (Romans 6:23a)

God will need you to acknowledge that as a sinner, you deserve death – (Romans 5:12)

Because of God’s infinite mercy he provided a way out of our state of sin –                       (Ephesians 2:4-5)

Accept God’s gift, which is to believe Jesus Christ died on the cross to save you from sin and death – (Romans 5:8)

God wants you to change your mind about how to reach Him by accepting His path. He wants you to change your mind from any idea of saving yourself through religion, or good works, and trust Jesus Christ’s death as payment in full for everything you have done wrong. – (Ephesians 2:8-9)

Receive, through faith in Jesus Christ, his free gift of salvation. – (Romans 3:23-24) (John 1:12)

God promises that “to all who received him (talking about Jesus), to those who believed in his name  (talking about Jesus), he gave the right to become children of God” (John 1:12) Yes, God does hear and accept ALL who come to put their faith in Him. The price has been paid in full and it is God’s promise to receive all who come to him by placing their faith in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
