On Friday, August 21, 2015, the headlines read “Dow plunges 500 points” and after a very brief bounce back once again the Headlines read, “The Dow plunges nearly 470 points, as concerns about the Federal Reserve weighed heavily on investor sentiment”.  If you were a long-term investor, you would not worry as much as the investor who was thinking of retiring soon. Even as you read this post one of your most precious commodities is quietly slipping away, an asset equally shared by all irrespective of how rich or poor a person is, we all begin and possess the same amount of this invaluable commodity and in any given day billionaires and paupers alike will lose it all. Right Place, Right Time

Wherever you are, know that you are exactly where you are supposed to be. We often worry whether we are in the wrong place at the wrong time, the right place at the wrong time, or the right place at the right time. “Timing is everything!” “Location, location, location!” Two axioms, two ingredients for success—for a comedian or real estate broker—in business, ministry, sports, or entertainment. We want the right place at the right time. Time can directly relate to quantity or quality, duration or destiny? The ancient Greeks had two words for time: chronos and kairos. Chronos means chronology, quantity, and duration. Kairos is the quality, meaning, or significance of a moment. While time’s measurement matters—and often relates directly to success—its meaning matters more.
